We search for Engagement Manager Europe (Russia, Ukraine, Europe and East Asia) with strong knowledge and working experience in:

Job Purpose

Build, maintain, drive, and own the Engagement Process of European (mainly Russia; including Ukraine, Europe, and East Asia) Prospect and/or Projects from pre-sales to on-boarding of stable project.

Education:

• Master degree in computer science or similar (Desirable)
• Business, marketing or management education (Desirable)

Specialized knowledge:

• Understanding of how IT business works and peculiarities of European/Russian markets as opposed to US market
• Experience in banking / finance sector (Desirable)
• Solid understanding of outsourcing services such as development, maintenance, system integration etc. that are used by enterprise companies
• Understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and software engineering methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, XP etc)

Skills & Abilities:

• Fluent Russian (speaking and writing)
• English (advanced level)
• German (Desirable)
• Great presentation skills
• Strong management/project management skills
• Risk management skills
• Self-management, time management and self-organization skills
• Result orientation and ability to provide results under pressure and within tight timeframes
• Multitasking: ability to drive several prospects/clients and teams in parallel
• High analytical skills (ability to analyze & recognize prospect/client needs and find appropriate solutions)
• Pro-activeness and initiative skills
• Self-education and fast-education abilities
• Able to handle a stressful job with clients and internal stakeholders
• Pleasant, friendly, agile and willing to travel frequently (short notice )
• Open to work long hours and on holidays if necessary

Experience:

• Experience in working with Russian clients/ markets , understanding the mentality and cultural differences (Desirable)
• Working experience as IT Manager or IT Director in banking or manufacturing company, who organized tenders for external vendors and later outsourced services to them (some system integration and development works); used the consulting capabilities of external vendors from Russia, Ukraine and/or Europe (Highly Desirable)
• Experience in developing proposals and estimates
• Experience in IT processes analysis and building in agile environment
• Proven communicator/presenter (including top and executive management)
• Proven success as team player in previous position(s)
• Proven leadership and team building experience
• Experience in client relationships management or project management / business analysis
• Technology and/or Quality Assurance/Quality Control background (Desirable)
