Senior Java J2EE Developer / Team Leader (ref: IM-SIJJ-DV01-02) for full time employment at Skelia service center in Lviv, Ukraine.
You will have an opportunity and challenge to start and grow the extended team for a financial services company based in the Netherlands, providing factoring & clearing services by maintaining & developing its front-office and back-office platforms.

YOUR PROFILE
Professional Requirements:
- Higher education in computer science/technical field
- Minimum 3 full years of professional experience
- Good knowledge of OOD and OOP
- Deep knowledge and practical background of Java/J2EE preferably with Spring framework
- Deep knowledge of data driven applications, SOA, SQL Server programming (including stored procedures and functions definitions)
- Having worked in application development teams applying a waterfall approach
- Deep background in OOA, Scalability, Security, SOAP / REST webservices and UML design
- High level of oral and written English
- Willing to travel abroad
- .Net knowledge is an advantage

YOUR MISSION
You will take part in developing & maintaining (corrective, adaptive, perfective and preventive) Java components to be integrated together with some .Net applications and common- packages.
This project includes integration with several systems starting with functional and technical specifications working closely with the Business Analyst & Application Architect in the Netherlands.
It will require strong communication skills to cooperate with team abroad. Developments will have to be integrated to several existing applications running on heterogeneous systems.
You will be in daily direct contact with our customer in the Netherlands.
Some of your main tasks will be:
- Perform the technical design of application and technical architecture components
- Develop common test data
- Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components.
- Work with other programmers, designers, and architects to make sure that the configuration and custom components meet functional as well as non-functional requirements.
- Follow good application development standards to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Inform the project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project.
- Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers.
- Fix any defects discovered in testing.
- Document the application to facilitate maintenance
- Ensuring of qualitative output in a timely manner
- Guaranteeing of software development in line with general development processes, defined quality requirements, and the company strategy
- Keeping the documentation up-to-date
